Description
I've never attempted to draw the Simpsons before. I realized that after watching their show that I love so much that it was strange I hadn't tried to draw it yet. So this is my first attempt at drawing Lisa Simpson ever and I didn't use a reference. I kind of totally surprised myself at how exact my memory was. Although maybe I shouldn't be too shocked since I've watched all 21 seasons many times over.
I did this in flash and exported it in a super extremely high resolution (2621x4984) which you can download.

Wow, I didn't know you were a Simpsons fan! I happen to have alot of people in my watch stack with Lisa pictures and when I saw that this was by you I was suprised. I like The Simpsons too but I've kind of gone of it a little recently as I don't get to watch it as much as I used to and the new episodes are pretty rubbish.
Anyway, cool drawing, what program did you do it in? The only advise I'd give which I find useful when drawing Maggie and Lisa is when drawing the hair try curving the flat edges slightly (not too much though because other-wise it looks gloopy, and I've done that on so many occasions) so the hair looks more natural (not that having hair like Lisa's in natural) and less jaggy.
Far better then my first attempts at drawing Lisa..but then again my first attempt was when I was 4 XD
